Continuing this series Monsters Of episodes – which has now become a trilogy – this second part of the tale continues off from the horrific account of the murder of 16 year old Mhairi Julyan, a young woman walking home from a Christmas pantomime in December 1995 who was abducted, raped and murdered – just 150 yards from her home. Previously, we heard of the crime and the investigation – and then police had a suspect, a good one.
His name? Gavin McGuire. And he was about to face trial for her murder.
